Abinash Nayak

Abinash Nayak joined Hollister Incorporated in November 2019 as Vice President The Americas. In May 2021, Nayak was named Vice President Hollister Europe and in 2022 he was appointed Vice President Global Business Units. In 2023, Nayak assumed responsibility for the Global Marketing Organization (GMO) and Research & Development (R&D) in addition to the global business units, and also became President and Chief Operating Officer for JDS Inc.
Prior to joining JDS Inc., Nayak worked for more than 20 years in the medical devices industry – in Research & Development, General Management, Global Marketing, and Strategy. He began his career in Research & Development at Baxter Healthcare, advancing to become Director of R&D for Baxter’s Transfusion Therapies business. Subsequently, Nayak joined Hill-Rom where he was Vice President of Innovation and R&D. Also at Hill-Rom, he was Regional President of Hill-Rom Asia Pacific (based in Singapore) and Vice President of Global Marketing, Strategy, and Business Development.
Nayak holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), as well as a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in New York, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
